Microsoft has released a new update to the Office for Windows computers application. With the published update, Excel can now retrieve data from PDF documents.
Excel, one of Microsoft’s most used applications in Office, has now the ability to retrieve data from PDF documents with the latest update released. This can now be reviewed and refreshed by importing the data in PDFs into Excel.
Starting in Excel 2016, Microsoft began using artificial intelligence to import external data into the application. AI that doesn’t work like an add-on was able to make data from many different file types available in Excel.
Only users with windows operating system are currently available for the new feature published for Excel. Excel users who can access the update and want to retrieve data from PDF documents can see Import from PDF in the Import Data tab under the ‘Data’ tab.
